Located 40 km to the south of "Villa de Merlo", Papagayos, it is an example of work in tourist matter and offers to each visitor a distinguishing supply and of quality.

Papagayos offers two places to lodge, one of them is the mountain hotel Los Leños, and second the Caranday Hotel.

In the gastronomical aspect there are several possibilities, like the Restaurant Doña Pabla with regional and international meals, or the exclusive Irideus Property with deposit of trouts and tasting to delight, without already forgetting well-known artisan cheeses “Los Nadis”.

And to complete unforgettable vacations, to cross the Papagayos stream, to bathe in the “Hollow of the Devil” and the cascade “Don Bosco”, to make a cavalcade between the palms, or to enter themselves in the mountain range by almost unexplored footpaths or perhaps to animate themselves to raise the “Black Hill”. Forced strolls are the circuits of craftsmen who elaborate the famous wrists, hats and other articles in palm, or simply to rest in the Municipal Camping, with swiming-pool, barbecques and services, enjoying the beauty of the landscapes.
